Cheryl is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin. While earning her degree, she worked for a renowned chiropractor by the name of Dr. Gonstead who operated a well-known clinic near Madison, Wisconsin.

She was so inspired by his interaction with his patients and the hands-on quality of the work that she moved to California and earned a degree from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1977.

Cheryl has lived and worked in the Silver Lake community for more than twenty years and was founder and president of the Silver Lake Chamber of Commerce for 17 years.
