The Silver Lake Chiropractic & Holistic Health Center is constantly striving to become a more environmentally responsible business. 

Specifically, we:

• Post signs, where appropriate, to save water and electricity in the office
• Use recyclable bags for our trash
• Use compostable cups for water and durable cups for staff
• Changed our lighting to energy efficient lights throughout the office
• Distribute any retail items in re-usable bags or paper bags
• Provide a stipend to employees who bike, walk or use fuel efficient vehicles to come to work
• Recycle our ink cartridges
• Use a smart strip for our computers
• Use post consumer, recycled paper products
• Print our business cards and brochures on recycled paper with soy ink
• Are attempting to get a bike rack outside the office
• Use retail products purchased from eco-conscious manufacturers/distributors
• Use a Fax modem so as to print many fewer faxes
• Use e-billing as much as possible to save paper

Cheryl is the co-chair of the Silver Lake Chamber of Commerce Green Committee and is striving to be an officially Green Business Certified with the City of Los Angeles
